If you're not familiar with Gizmo Apps yet, they're a collection of specialized single-page applications that run entirely in your browser. This approach has several benefits:

The current lineup includes:
- Gizmo Draw - Create diagrams with a simple programming language

- Gizmo Notes - Browser-based note-taking with web page summarization
Behind the Scenes
This blog itself uses a similar approach to the main Gizmo website - markdown files transformed into static HTML. The system includes features specifically designed for blogging:
